HI Now went holoholo to Maui! Kainoa learned about a new program called “E Mālama Kaʻehu,” an effort to restore Ka`ehu Bay.

Earth Science at Lahaina Intermediate
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of #EarthDay, take a look at what Lahaina Intermediate School students learned in earth science class this year. Mahalo to Malama Kaʻehu, Hawaii Wildlife Fund, Trilogy Excursions, Maui Nui Marine Resource Council, and Hawaii DLNR (Department of Land and Natural Resources) for sharing your manaʻo with our haumana.
